This interactive workshop has been designed specifically for staff who are brand new to School Data Management and will cover specific Sisra Analytics admin, along with more general school data information and advice.  With lots of opportunities to ask questions and to discuss best practice, attendees will be taken through the role of a school Data Manager, as well as the tasks that often need to be completed during a full 12-month cycle of being in a school data role.

During this workshop you will cover:


  • Year 7 Admissions and setting up a new cohort
  • Understanding and setting up EAPs
  • Uploading and understanding grade data
  • KS2 data and where to find it
  • Target Setting
  • Census
  • DfE Performance Tables Checking
  • Understanding Headline measures
  • Examinations overview
  • Timeline of events and tasks
  • Useful resources and where to find information


This course will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. 


IMPORTANT - Please ensure that you have the Sisra Analytics Add-In installed on the computer you will be using for the training, as well as functioning audio, camera and microphone.

This course will be split across two consecutive days from 9.30am - 12.30pm each day. Please note our courses and webinars are not recorded. However, you will receive any recourses following the session.


Please note, we do not intend to cover:

  • Full Sisra Analytics administration and set-up
  • KS5
  • Using the Sisra Analytics reports
  • The role of the Examinations Officer
