*Essex Schools/Academies* This one day programme is for those that are the designated person (or deputy) for child protection within Education.

Event Description

To understand the roles & responsibilities of the designated lead / person.
To understand the legislative / good practice requirement for safeguarding children.
To understand what safeguarding arrangements should be in place to keep children safe.
To understand what to do if a safeguarding concern is raised and how you can support staff to recognise these.
To have the opportunity to reflect on current practice and make changes to better safeguard children and young people.
