Course summary:

This 2-hour course focuses on understanding the Protected Characteristics and the legislation around Equality and Diversity.

This course will:

Define the protected characteristics
Examine the legislation for schools surrounding the Equality and Diversity act
Identify risk factors and signs of abuse
Discuss barriers and how to overcome these to support a culture of whole school well-being and safety.
