Designed with Headteachers and senior leadership in mind, this module aims to give delegates an in-depth knowledge of why financial budgeting is important within an academy and how it can be achieved in a realistic manner. Delegates will be guided through the academy budget setting process using a practical demonstration, and introduced to relevant financial tools that are available to assist them in confidently setting an academy budget.

The course also introduces budget monitoring and reporting and how to interpret system generated reports.

This course will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams

Learning outcomes: You will leave this course with an in-depth knowledge of the budget process, the confidence to monitor the budget and report on the academy's financial position.
