Designed with Headteachers and Deputy/Assistant Headteachers in mind, this module assists delegates with understanding their responsibilities in relation to finance within the academy, the role of the trustees and governing bodies as well as the finance staff, including looking at job descriptions for the finance roles.

These courses contain practical demonstrations of the type of financial documents that you will have handed to you at school and guidance on how to check and interpret the information contained in them.

This course will be conducted remotely via Microsoft teams.

Learning outcomes: You will leave this course understanding the roles and responsibilities within your organisation as well as with the confidence to monitor the submission of key financial returns.
