KS4 - Understanding Headline & Performance Measures Workshop

Each session lasts approximately 120 minutes.

This online Workshop is designed for individuals who are interested in learning more about their school KS4 Headline and Performance Measures.

Covering where the information is published, where the data comes from and how to calculate and interpret the figures available in your IDSR and the Compare School Performance website.

Going right back to basics, we’ll take an in-depth look at all the key performance measures including:

• Attainment 8

• Progress 8

• EBacc

• Basics measure

• Student context data

We’ll also investigate what questions we can ask of the data in order to identify key areas of strength and development for the school and in turn, drive up improvement. With lots of tasks and practical activities throughout the session, you will leave with all the knowledge and skills required to review KS4 performance with confidence.

This is not a Sisra Analytics course and therefore you do not need to be a Sisra user to participate. The workshop is suitable for all levels of attendee who wish to understand KS4 Headline data.

Recommended Audience: SLT, Assistant Headteacher in charge of Data, Middle Leaders, Raising Achievement Leaders, Governors, Data Managers, CEO’s.

This course will be split across two 2-hour sessions on consecutive afternoons:

We do not intend to cover KS5 Headline & Performance Measures during this session. Our courses and webinars are not recorded. However, you will receive any resources following the session.

We have a strict policy concerning numbers of delegates on each course. A place must be booked for each delegate, agreeing to the terms and conditions. Please do not invite other colleagues to the training; we will send individual invites to each delegate. Please do not forward the meeting link as you will be charged for an additional attendee.
