Governors need to understand the process of an Ofsted inspection in order for them to support their school effectively. They also need to make sure that they are meeting their statutory obligations and fulfilling their duties.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the session delegates will be able to:

Understand the current Ofsted framework
Understand the governors' role and how well the board is prepared for an inspection
Identify any key areas for action and practical steps to be taken.

Additional information

Places are limited to two governors per school in order to keep to manageable numbers.

This session is included in the Governor Training Subscription. If you have an active subscription there is no charge for attendance.
