Course summary:
This course is designed to strengthen subject leadership.
Delegates will have the opportunity to continue professional dialogue with colleagues, further develop and reflect upon action planning to contribute to whole school improvement and consider current data, issues and interventions to improve pupil progress.
It's an opportunity to share information on current literacy developments approaches, guidance and thinking.
The session provides an excellent opportunity to liaise with other subject leaders to discuss and share good practice.
How will the pupils benefit?
Through increased awareness of current literacy guidance, subject leaders can support colleagues to improve and develop the quality of teaching and learning.

Literacy leaders will have increased awareness of current guidance and can use this to inform actions and priorities to improve standards in the subject across the school.
