In this hour-long webinar we will explore how to undertake safeguarding work with a child who has protected characteristics.

During this webinar we will:

• Define the protected characteristics

• Examine Keeping Children Safe in Education (2023) and The Equality Act (2010)

• Identify risk factors and signs of abuse

• Discuss barriers to safety and how to overcome these.

• Explore how leaders can embed the teaching of protected characteristics to support a culture of safety
