Event Summary

This session will cover the statutory requirements of secondary/primary curriculum provision and explore how governors can ensure that this and a broad and balanced curriculum is being delivered in their school. This course is written to give governors information about recent changes to the school curriculum. It looks at how the National Curriculum has changed with the current emphasis on teaching and learning, rather than data. It explores vocabulary like the three “I’s” and “deep delves”. It covers how Ofsted inspectors will judge the schools curriculum and the governors role in monitoring it.

This session is included in the Governor Training Subscription. If you have an active subscription there is no charge for attendance.
